Executive Director

Renzo Romero

2014-10-25-Renzo-Test-740

Renzo Romero obtained his B.A. in Theatre Arts (emphasis in Performance) from San Francisco State University. His love for theatre and performance was found through enrolling in a general acting class to fulfill his arts requirement while still studying sociology as a major. Renzo’s passion grew for the arts and discovered that acting is very similar to sociology in which both study human behavior–acting is utilizing that study and representing it through one’s body. So, he studied both Sociology and Theatre giving him a different perspective on acting. His last productions include SFSU’s “A Chorus Line” and his first leading role as Pinocchio in “I Never Lie: A Pinocchio Project” by Meredith Eden (produced by our friends at 99 Stock Productions). Artistic Associate / New Play Development

Vadanak Ke

Ke pic

Vadanak Ke is the Artistic Director of Zeitgeist Artworks and a Co-Founder of Planets Aligned Theatre Company. He likes making movies, writing plays, and on occasion skeet shooting- no, not really, I haven’t fired a gun in my life. In fact if you’ve made the effort to read this far into my bio I want to personally congratulate you. These things tend to be so boring and self indulgent. In case you’re wondering, I haven’t won any awards, none of my movies got picked up, and I work at a locksmith shop, so I might not be the finest example to your kids who are looking to get into the industry. However, with that said, I have a wonderful wife who still texts me beautiful quips, two shining kids who redecorate my walls daily with permanent markers, and an overbearing mother who still reminds me to take a shower even after I’ve just taken one. So my life isn’t so bad when you look at it from that perspective. I hope that you, fine patron, are truly doing well in whatever it is you’re doing, that you are passionate in your ventures, and that you still long for orange painted sunsets. I also want to thank you for not only reading this miserable excuse for a bio but for actively participating in and contributing to this wonderful thing called art. Thank you, truly. Before I go, I will leave you with two quotes: one from a friend of mine named Efron who said “Words without actions are lost ideas” and the other quote is from my son Fable who asked “why?” How profound. We all have stories, let’s start telling them.

Larry’s been the TD for the Primitive Screwheads since 2004. He had retired from the Screwheads in 2011 but like Michael Corleone once said, “Just when I though I was out…they pull me back in!” He was approached by Steve Bologna to collaborate with Breach Once More, and gladly dusted off his power tools to do one last run backstage.

Tricia Brooks

Tricia Brooks

Tricia Brooks first met Steve and other company members while acting in Brown Bag Theatre company, pursuing her Bachelor of Arts at SFSU. Early on she decided she wanted to work with Steve’s passionate, creative direction and got the opportunity when working with Breach Once More in Othello.

After graduating SFSU, Tricia attended an intensive in London, England at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts where she studied with conservatory professors such as Brigid Panet. She has also studied at ACT with Andrew Hurteau. Tricia has done a wide variety of work from Shakespeare to Checkov to Rebeck to feature and short films. Today she is pursuing her acting and directing career in film in Los Angeles and has recently signed with a theatrical and commercial agent.
Michael Zavala
Michael ZavalaMichael Zavala met BOM Founder Steve Bologna while pursuing a degree at SFSU, where Steve directed Zavala in multiple productions, including Bologna’s Master’s Thesis, a post-apocalyptic Othello, where Zavala played Iago. He would like to thank Steve and the BOM crew for their vision and hard diligence.

Zavala is a lifelong Bay Area performer. He was born and raised in the East Bay, where he trained with local and regional theater companies such as Center REP and ACT. As well as being an actor since age 8, Zavala is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, dancer, writer, and trained swordsman.

 Tommy Scott
Tommy Scott

At the age of 16, without friends or any sense of loss, Tommy took to the stage to create a career in stand up comedy. After entertaining many crowds with his dry and naive sense of humor at such prestigious clubs as; The Purple Onion, The Punchline, The Comedy Store, and The IMPROV, he decided to pursue an education in theatrical arts in 2010 from San Francisco State University. That’s where he met Steve of Breach Once More. It was he who first imbued confidence in Tommy’s performance as an actor both onstage and off. With a keen eye to constructive guidance and minute detail, Steve has helped Tommy to develop the subtleties within a performance as well as pushing the limits his comfort zone.

Having recently appeared as Ray in Breach Once More’s production of Lone Star (and Othello in 2012), Tommy resides in Los Angeles where he is currently studying with The Upright Citizens Brigade.
Neal Honda

Theatrical

Neal Honda has been passionate about acting and performing since a very young. A clear sign was when his mother caught him watching himself in the mirror, and marching along to a Barney Parade that was playing on TV.

Since that time Neal has performed in a number of plays and musicals through schooling, which ultimately lead him to get his B.A. in Theatre Performance at SFSU, graduating in 2013. Neal just recently made the move to Los Angeles in hopes of making acting his full-time career by cracking the television and film industry ‘beast’. In an ideal world, he hopes to leave his day job and work on a television series with showrunner Damon Lindelof (Lost & The Leftovers), but only if he’s killed off after three seasons, no more, no less. Be sure and check out Neal’s IMDB page, though it looks like a barren wasteland now, who knows, that may change soon(ish).

Neal has been lucky enough to have been a part of a few Breach Once More productions, notably Othello as the role of Roderigo, and SubUrbia as the role of Jeff. He would like to thank Steve Bologna and the rest of the B.O.M. crew for giving him the opportunity to be a part of such a savvy group of artists. What Neal loves most about B.O.M. is that they are tackling the theatre scene in the Bay Area the right way, grinding it out. Don’t sleep on these guys!

He especially wants to thank Steve for being a constant role model, teacher, coach, and bro through all the years. Your insight and friendship mean everything. Though he knows his future with B.O.M. is just beginning, he hopes to collaborate with them again sooner rather than later.
